Beach Haven was given a special recommendation by the Rough Guide in 2006. This is what they said about us:

'Very friendly and sociable guest house right   in the middle of the Fort offering a varied range of good-value fan and smarter a/c rooms.'

We are also mentioned in the Lonely Planet 2006: 'This is a modern home with ten tidy rooms and roof-top deck. The family is welcoming and stills remember the extended stay by   Lonely Planet   co-founder,   Tony Wheeler in 1977.'

We are situated very close to both Galle Bus Station and Galle Railway Station and a tuk-tuk (three-wheeler)   should   cost   less than 100 rupees to our guest house.Galle International Cricket Stadium is nearly 800 meters away from the Guest House   .You can also walk which should take less than 10 minutes
